Where do the Knight Hawks fit in Vegas football history?

Las Vegas has a long list of pro football teams that didn't last. Before the Raiders, the city had the CFL's Las Vegas Posse, which lasted one season (1994) at the Sam Boyd Silver Bowl [2]. It also had the XFL's Las Vegas Outlaws, who hosted the league's first nationally televised game in 2001 before the league folded [3]. Indoor football came earlier too: the Knight Hawks are the fourth arena/indoor team in Vegas, after the defunct Las Vegas Sting, Las Vegas Gladiators and Las Vegas Outlaws of the Arena Football League [1]. The Knight Hawks have already gone further than most: they won the IFL National Championship in 2025 [1].

What's next?

The IFL plays in spring and summer. We'll add the 2027 schedule once the team publishes it on its official site [4].
